((Now... Just note that I didn't come up with this, my youth pastor gave this to my mother and I thought that it was really cool, so I wanted to share it with you guys... Anyhoo...))
Think you're unqualified to minister to the world? Consider this:
    • Moses stuttered
    • David's armor didn't fit
    • John Mark was undependable
    • Hosea married a prostitute
    • Amos only had experience as a fig tree pruner
    • Jacob was a liar
    • David had an affair
    • Solomon had too much money
    • Abraham was too old
    • Timothy had ulcers
    • Joseph was a nuisance
    • Paul was ugly
    • Peter was a coward
    • Lazarus was dead
    • Josh was self-righteous
    • Jesus was homeless
    • Naomi was a widow
    • Jonah was disobedient
    • Miriam was a gossip
    • Gideon and Thomas were doubters
    • Jeremiah was suicidal
    • Elijah suffered from depression
    • Paul was a murderer
    • So was Moses...
    • Not to mention David...
    • John the Baptist dressed funny
    • Martha was a worrywart
    • Samson needed a haircut
    • Noah had a drinking problem
    • Moses had a short fuse
    • Zacchaeus was very short
    • David was only a teenager
    • So was Mary, the mother of Jesus..
    • So was Daniel..
    • And so many others used by God...
Fortunately, God doesn't requirea a job interview for his ministry. He doesn't do backgorudn checks or ask for references. He doesn't care what your qualifications are.
The fact is, no one is qualified to serve God. If you think you're qualified, you'll likely fail. God calls unqualified people because the only way they can be successful in their ministry is to depend fully and completely on God!

    Hi Lindsey

I would like to put this on the new site also. But you might need to make the words a little bigger. For the old people like me.

Just high light the words, and click on the Format button, set it to 5 Heading.

It will take me a few days to copy this to the site, I have a cold and have been sick for the past few days.

    I really like that!!!

I really think God can use anyone that is willing.

I know God has used unlikely people to affect my life.

    So it is definitely truely.

You just got to be willing to stand up and step out and work!!

My excuse is I'm not worthy, but I try any how 'cause I love JESUS & I want to see the will of GOD & the Kingdom come.
Great post.Jesus came to heal the sick sinners, not the hoytee toytees. The lost not the self-rightous.
If you want to be used by GOD, just ask HIM. & HE will use you even when you don't realize HE's using you ! In the end everything is GOD's will.
